Girl Scouts of Southeast Florida will honor six women at the sixth annual Emerald Awards Feb. 23.
Being recognized for their leadership qualities and as role models for young women in Palm Beach are: Pamela M. Rauch, VP of external affairs and economic development at Florida Power & Light – Go-Getter Award Tara M. McCoy, CEO of Good Samaritan Hospital – Innovator Award Lisa Interlandi, executive director of The Everglades Law Center – Risk-Taker Award ¦ Ava L. Parker, president of Palm Beach State College – Leader Award
The Young Philanthropist Award recognizes a woman under 40 who has made an impact in Palm Beach County. This year, the award goes to Valerie Fiordilino Maslow, a nationally certified physician assistant and board member for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
And this year, Girl Scouts of Southeast Florida is honoring Dari
Bowman, a charitable activist, with the Lifetime Achievement
Award for Philanthropy.
The recipients will be honored at the Emerald
Awards from 6-10:30 p.m. at The Beach Club in Palm
